i'm back from MALAYSIA. im malaysia-plus-friend-sick back in singapore, back at home. i'm missing everybody already. well, here's what happened during the past five days back in malaysia.
day one, 5th june.
left school at about 7 and had a 9 hour bus ride in a coach before reaching Assunta Children Society. then. we unpacked and got into our assigned groups before having lunch. frankly, i was unhappy i wasnt in the group that had to do painting. i even tried changing groups like what sellick did. thank god, it was a blessing in disguise. you'll know why. just carry on reading. so, we slept at twelve and it was the end of day. there was air-condition too. =) cool.
day two, 6th june.
our group set off to the old folk's home next door to the place where we stayed. we left at 9am after breakfast and was the first group to leave. we joined the folks there for their "exercise" haha. we were a little nervous about things but soon, we were attached to the folks there. we played very very simple ball games with them while sha and charmaine did their dance routines for them to see. there was this old man who kept crying while we were there. then, we didnt know why. two old ladies were teasing him saying he was a cry-baby blah blah. ahah! old people can be mean too okay! LOL.
we returned at about noon while the elderly had their afternoon nap. had lunch and bathed. FREE TIME! returned to the home at about 2pm and entertained them again. we also fed them their lunch. there's this old man who can do palm reading and ALL OF US let him read our palms.
i'm gonna be a doctor if i'm hardworking and i'll be a future rich tai tai. colin will be rich, the money will find him even if he shake his legs. sean's gonna be a rich man. miss sabrina should get married later and have not more than 2 kids because her kids will spend her money. yun ni is gonna strike it rich at the age of 25 and she's gonna marry at 28. something bad is gonna happen on the 9th on a friday to charmaine and something good will happen to jeremy. that'll be on 9th october. nadia natasha's gonna be good at chemistry which she presently is. julie's gonna be strong even at the age of 80.
charmaine's really nice to the folks there. we "knocked off" at four. walked to Old Town. on the way there, sean found 10RM. julie and people bought prepaid malaysian sim cards. bought mascara at Watsons with charmaine. COLIN STEPPED ON POO. god knows what poo was that. gross la. ate macdonalds and walked back. crapped with the group while waiting for the other groups to return. thank god i brought the mp3 speaker.
when the rest of the groups came back, we had dinner and left for sunway lagoon pyramid for some shopping time. siti, roxane, jeremy, colin and cher hao went down and ice-skated for an hour. then we went to grab some food and had a few minutes to drop into mango and got a striped black and white top for only 79RM and the belt i wanted at only 35Rm while mango in singapore sold it at $35 bucks. happy happy.
got back and we celebrated miss woo's and the june babies birthdays. miss woo, shermine, sean, cheryl and i. didnt sleep that well. mosquito bites.
day three, 7th june.
woke up early and got to the home at 9am again after breakfast. did what we did the day before and entertained them. took loads of pictures. oh oh, nadia natasha makes a great housewife and khye an makes a great house-husband. both were really patient with the folks there.
miss sabrina cried so did nadia because we found out why the old man who always cries, cry. apparently he's touched that a group of kids, us, went to visit them, as they were usually just there with no companion but the people there. nadia cried cause she found out that this particular old lady, a very bubbly and active "po po", had been tricked into staying at the home by her son and has been waiting for her son to come and bring her home. nevertheless, she stayed jovial.
again, the "palm-reader" read our palms. charmaine'll be in the entertainment business when she grows up. sharifah's gonna be doing labour for her career. he also taught us how to read palms generally. if the veins on your back hand pops up, you're an indecisive person. how soft your hand is judges if the money will find you or you'd have to find the money. your index finger depicts your mannerism. for guys, you gotta read their left hand and the right for girls.
after leaving the home at four we headed to Old Town again to get stationaries for the noticeboard we were incharge of. did up the noticeboard and took crazy emo pictures with the pauol twohill hairstyle. while doing up the board, we danced whenever the song hips dont lie comes on. jeremy was really zealous about dancing! lol. so group C was doing the board while the other groups walked to Old Town.
when they got back, i received a nightmare before christmas bolster and a heart from siti and roxy, a necklace and a haert from cher hao and a visor from charmaine and nicholas. yong jian's massages are h-e-a-v-e-n. =)
day four, 8th june.
MY Birthday! hairy X woke up early. yong jian gave me my birthday massage. haha. birthday present. LOL. got extra back and face massage some more la. shiok! went to bid the old folks goodbye. ALL the girls but Julie cried. she was laughing la.
im getting lazy to blog. lol. im gonna cut short.
we shopped at some shopping centre, went to see a memorial, the asean park, the kl tower, the court, the istana and the chocolate shoppe. chocolates!! espresso ones too!
miss sabrina treat us dinner at macs at chinatown. everybody shopped like siao la. bargain till. cannot tahan. i was broke and didnt manage to get a thing. was depressed during the train ride back to the hotel. everybody was like i lend you money la. so weird.
bunked in a hotel room with nadia rahmat and roxane. our room had a Bible. eerie. other rooms had Q'urans. watched the rerun of american's next top model. ther was this creepy ghost commercial that came on that got us all screaming. miss seah came over to our room and we were like, got ghost got ghost in the tv! LOL. retards.
day five aka the last day, 9th june.
had breakfast and checked out at about 9am. yong jian owes me TWO massages. xD
went to the st paul's church at malacca where i've been to many times. got this dream-catcher necklace for 7RM. there was this guy singing with a guitar at the top of the hill in the remains of a tomb place. he's really good. and he sung OLDIES!!
head over to this street where some bought portuguese pineapple tarts while i bought a feather necklace and two dream-catchers. there was a big one in black that only costs 22RM! after that we headed home, for singapore.
watched big momma's house 2 in the bus.

a dream-catcher necklace at 7RM.
a feather necklace at 3 for 10RM.
two dream-catchers purple and green at 8RM each.
i'll be missing everybody and the trip. namely, siti, roxane, colin, jeremy, cher hao, charmaine, sharifah, julie, nadia natasha, nadia rahmat, naim, sellick, yong jian aka jason, hairy X, miss sabrina thang, and everyone else. god bless all you guys and keep in touch. i love you guys. =)
